I am passionate about nurturing spaces that are both aesthetically refined and ecologically considered.

I respect that gardens should be rooted within their locality and thus recognise the need to respond sympathetically to a sense of place.

I believe in creating gardens and nurturing landscapes that are nourished by beauty, richness, and resilience.

I apply principles of artistry, craftsmanship, and ecological rigour to my practice as a garden maker.

I trust in the inherent nature of wildness and its capacity for restoring the soul.

Philosophy

Every process begins with an observation of landscape and environment to ground gardens within their unique settings.

Interventions are minimalised to protect the ecological health and integrity of a space - and - engender positive evolution.

Materials are recycled and/or sourced responsibly to lower the carbon footprint attached to a project and place value on local provenance.

Craftsmen and gardeners respond sensitively to the creative visions for a space and they themselves are incorporated into this evolutionary process.

Plantings are multi-layered and restorative with a focus on regenerating ecological habitats and cultivating healthy soils.
